Got my hair to curl at the ends which is usually and impossible feat and I have ALOT of hair which she dried in no time. I’ve been to moxie a few times now and I have always been super pleased. I had coloring done with Mara and I am obsessed with what she did for me! It’s beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Mara was so professional and took care of my hair with checking the bleach to make sure my hair was lifting correctly as I was a natural brunette. I am so happy with the results! Mara is a wonderful colorist and so kind. Overall, Everybody at Moxie is also super friendly and caring, they made sure that my experience was great. I highly recommend this salon!

Mara is the best. I am so picky about my hair. I've been going to the same lady for the last 15 years in Hell's kitchen. I really value my hair and the way it looks and it is something that's always been so important to me. That's why I drive an hour into the City to get my haircut.
I tried two or three people in New Jersey but it was lackluster results. But I decide to give this place a try. And I met with Mara and it was just such a great experience. She didn't just cut and think about it later. She actually used her intelligence to figure out the right solution before starting to cut anything and she had great ideas like making my part a little bit bigger which really improved my hair thickness and overall she did such a great job. It honestly was such a relief to me to find someone close by. That did such a great job.
The establishment is also really clean and today I got a hair dye and they have so many different products and variations and options here. I highly recommend this location and also Mara.
